ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for IT Technician – Intern position who meet the following requirements.
Required number: Three
Reports to: Head, of Asset Management Department
Duty station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa
Duration: Contract for three month
IT Technician – Intern is responsible for providing assistance in the following roles: –
Duties and responsibilities
Provides technical support and work with the senior store keeper,
Test functionality of ICT materials available in the store.
Troubleshooting simple hardware and software issues.
Identify the type of additional maintenance and repair required for non-functional hard wares
Render additional service expected from him/her
Handle any other related activities as requested by the Asset Management Head or the deputy head.
About You
Education and Work Experience:
BA/MA degree in Information Technology, Compute Science or other relevant studies
0 – 1 year for BA Degrees or Masters
Knowledge
Knowledge of IT principles and practices.
Relationship building and communication
Know-How (Skills) (Technical competencies):
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
Effective time management to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
