The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) is a U.S.-based non-profit humanitarian organization that supports torture rehabilitation globally. In Ethiopia, CVT has been working since 2013 across multiple regions with refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities by training and supervising counselors, providing trauma counseling and physiotherapy services, strengthening partners’ capacity to deliver trauma-informed care, and conducting staff care workshops. The Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) hereby invite licensed and legally recognized audit firms to undertake an external audit services for our financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025.
The purpose of the audit is to obtain an independent opinion on whether our financial statements present a true and fair view of our financial position and results of operations, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
The scope of the audit is expected to include:
Examination of our financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025;
Review of accounting records and internal control systems;
Assessment of compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards;
Issuance of an independent audit report and a management letter outlining key findings and recommendations.
About You
Requirements:
Certificate of Professional Competence from AABE
Renewed Trade License, TIN, VAT, legal qualifications
Evidence of experience in INGO audit work
Technical proposal and financial proposal in ETB

Interested audit firms are invited to submit separate technical and financial proposals outlining their audit approach, relevant experience, proposed timeline, and professional fees in a wax-sealed envelope.
The complete proposal documents should be submitted in person to our office on or before 06 February 2026 at 04:00 PM.
