Position Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager leads Digaf MFI’s FP&A Unit, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial performance analysis, capital planning, and decision support. This role ensures strategic alignment of financial resources, delivers actionable insights to management and the Board, and upholds compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate with departments and CFO.
Conduct quarterly rolling forecasts and scenario analyses.
Oversee monthly variance analysis and financial performance reviews.
Supervise capital planning, liquidity forecasting, and funding mix optimization.
Produce management and Board dashboards and strategic reports.
Lead annual stress testing and risk-adjusted financial planning.
Provide decision support for business cases, ROI evaluations, and project modeling.
Ensure regulatory compliance and efficiency in reporting and analysis.

About You
Experience Requirements
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Financial Management.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior analytical role within MFIs, Banks, Fin-Techs, or regulated financial institutions.
• Proven experience leading annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis.
• Strong experience in capital planning, liquidity management, and funding mix optimization.
• Experience preparing Board-level financial reports and dashboards.
• Practical exposure to stress testing, risk-adjusted planning, and financial modeling.
• Experience supporting strategic decision-making at senior management level.
• Familiarity with NBE regulations and MFI prudential standards is highly desirable.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Professional certification preferred: ACCA, CPA, CFA (Level I or II).
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; Power BI or similar tools are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of management accounting, costing, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent communication and Board-level presentation skills.
• High ethical standards, accuracy, and confidentiality.
