Position Summary

We are seeking a Customer Success Officer who will be the bridge between our services and our clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and able to provide strategic support to help clients succeed across all TradeEthiopia platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The B2B Matchmaking Officer is responsible for identifying, connecting, and managing relationships between buyers and suppliers, facilitating successful matchmaking sessions, and supporting deal follow-ups to drive business growth.

Business Networking & B2B Engagement

Identify, onboard, and manage buyers and suppliers for B2B matchmaking
Organize and facilitate B2B matchmaking sessions (online)
Coordinate communication and follow-up between buyers and suppliers
Support negotiation and deal follow-up processes
Maintain accurate records of matchmaking activities and outcomes
Prepare regular reports on leads, sessions conducted, and deals closed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Identify and connect buyers with suppliers across various industries.
Use social media, email, phone, and telemarketing to handle buy/sell requests.
Facilitate B2B matchmaking services for businesses seeking trade opportunities.
Act as a liaison between companies and potential business partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Customer Success B2B Officer, you are assigned the following core responsibilities:

Manage international and local B2B subscribers, ensuring timely delivery of promised services.
Use the B2B software to handle enquiries, bulk email, posts, and leads.
Maintain daily communication with buyers and suppliers (calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn).
Prepare and send buyer-supplier match reports, contracts, and transaction follow-ups.
Prospect and research new buyer opportunities, including expo visitors and coffee traders.
Organize suppliers’ product details to meet international buyer standards (quality, packaging, certifications).
Support sample sending, virtual meetings, and farm visits for potential buyers.
Track service delivery forms, expirations, and renewals.
Use B2B software for announcements, reminders, and training updates.
Handle expo subscribers: exhibition logistics, exhibitor communication, booth support.
Track international expos (coffee expos, trade fairs), and communicate with visitors/exhibitors.
About You
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, International Trade, or related fields.
Minimum of 1 year experience in customer success, B2B support, sales coordination, or related roles.
Strong understanding of B2B ecosystems, trade facilitation, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Who work on international trade and knows about international trade.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, email tools, and CRM platforms.
Highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Passion for trade, entrepreneurship, and client empowerment.
Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, Arabic, and Chinese) is an advantage.
