Position Title: Web Hosting & DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
Setup, manage and oversee the configuration, security, and automation of web hosting infrastructure for Ashewa Cloud. Manage VPS, firewalls, billing systems, and DevOps workflows while ensuring high availability, security, and compliance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting while staying up to date with new technologies to enhance system performance and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and secure VPS, including firewalls and DDoS protection.
Install and update server software, monitor uptime, and implement recovery plans.
Ensure compliance with security best practices, backup policies, and system protection protocols.
Install and manage control panels (cPanel, WHM, DirectAdmin) and integrate with billing systems like WHMCS.
Automate server tasks, account provisioning, and monitoring workflows.
Configure and manage payment gateways for billing automation and follow up on payments.
Handle domain setup, DNS configuration, and registrar management, ensuring smooth domain renewals and payments and integrate with billing software
Troubleshoot domain and hosting-related issues efficiently.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage version control systems like GitLab and GitHub.
Optimize server performance, caching strategies, and resource management.
Stay updated with new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
Provide professional client interaction and support for hosting-related queries.
Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with data protection policies, accuracy in billing, and system security.
Support, setup, configure and mange SSL certificates for every our customers and internal usage.
About You
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of Experience
Direct experience on web hosting or certificate
