Role Overview

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in factory management accounting and proven expertise in the import and export sector.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and company policies
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor cost control, budgeting, and financial planning for factory operations
Supervise junior accounting staff and guide as needed
Collaborate with management to support strategic decision-making
About You
Requirements

 

BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in factory accounting management
A good background in the import and export sector is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and ERP/accounting systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English
Ability to work independently with integrity and accountability
