About the Company

MAXAM Ethiopia Explosive Services PLC for the Kurmuk Gold Project was established for the following purposes:

To provide technical services related to explosive products, including consulting, training, and operational support.
To offer transportation and logistical services for explosive products in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
To develop and implement innovative solutions in the explosives industry to enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
To engage in all businesses related to the explosives products industry and associated services.
We would like to hire a Finance Officer who will support financial operations by maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with the company’s financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial records and accounting documents.
Prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
Assist in budgeting and cost control activities.
Process payments and manage invoices.
Support audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
About You
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company (required).
Experience in a mining company is an advantage.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Experience working in an international organization.
Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
