About the Job
EL-Hadar Engineering is a progressing and reputable construction company in Ethiopia, specialized in the construction of buildings, roads, and electro-mechanical works. As we expand our infrastructure footprint across the country, we are seeking four (4) talented Accountants to join our project teams. This role is essential for ensuring financial accuracy and rigorous reporting at our active project sites.
Key Responsibilities

Site Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports specifically for project-site activities.

Cost Tracking: Monitor project expenditures against budgets to ensure financial efficiency and identify variances.

Transaction Verification: Audit and verify all site-level invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

Inventory Liaison: Work closely with site stores and the inventory team to reconcile physical assets with financial records.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure all site accounting practices align with the company’s financial policies and national engineering accounting standards.
About You
1. Educational Requirements

Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
2. Experience & Skills
-
Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with Construction Technologies and the specific accounting needs of the construction industry is required.

Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining professional integrity in a project environment.
