Job Summary

The Marketing & Business Development Department Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving organizational growth. You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate high-value client relationships, and ensure that Bless Laboratory’s testing and analytical services remain the gold standard in the food, beverage, and agriculture industries.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging industry trends, competitor positioning, and unmet client needs.

  • Standards Compliance: Maintain a close, proactive follow-up on updated local and international testing standards to ensure our services remain compliant and competitive.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company’s long-term objectives.

2. Client Acquisition & Growth

  • Relationship Management: Actively identify and engage potential clients (manufacturers, processors, and retailers), building sustainable, long-term partnerships.

  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contract agreements that meet the technical and commercial needs of high-level clients.

3. Marketing & Visibility

  • Digital Outreach: Oversee promotional campaigns, including the use of social media and digital marketing platforms to boost company visibility.

  • Representation: Represent the laboratory at industry conferences, exhibitions, and trade events.

  • Networking: Develop strategic partnerships with industry associations and regulatory stakeholders.

4. Operational Collaboration & Reporting

  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure services meet client expectations and industry-required quality standards.

  • Performance Tracking: Maintain records of marketing activities and sales performance, providing regular, data-driven reports to senior management.


About You

1. Educational Background

  • Degree: MSc/MA/MBA or BSc/BA in Economics, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.

2. Professional Experience

  • Tenure: 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or marketing.

  • Leadership: At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position.

  • Social Media: Skills in Video Editing for social media are considered a strong plus.

3. Core Requirements

  • Sales Management: Proven track record in B2B marketing, sales analytics, and performance reporting.

  • Operational Agility: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and navigate a fast-paced environment.
