Job Summary

Lalo Bake is seeking an visionary Senior Pastry and Bakery Chef to head our production kitchen. This is a rare opportunity to combine your culinary artistry with operational leadership. In this role, you will define our dessert and bread identity, mentor our production team, and manage the end-to-end quality of our baked goods. Key Responsibilities

1. Culinary Leadership & Innovation

  • Menu Design: Conceptualize and execute seasonal menus, including Mold Cakes, French pastry, artisan breads, and plated desserts.

  • Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and inspire our pastry and bakery staff to maintain high standards of technique and creativity.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with management on new product launches and continuous workflow improvements.

2. Operational Excellence

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure 100% consistency in presentation, flavor, and quality for every product leaving the kitchen.

  • Food Safety: Implement and uphold rigorous HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards across all operations.

  • Resource Management: Manage cost control, inventory procurement, and waste reduction.

  • Sales Analytics: Use data-driven performance reporting to align production with market demand.


About You

1. Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven leadership experience in a high-volume pastry or bakery environment.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in both delicate pastry work and robust artisan bread production.

  • Training: Formal culinary training and HACCP knowledge are highly preferred.
