The CISO Unit is seeking a strategic leader to drive enterprise modernization, digitizing internal business operations to ensure efficiency, automation, and scalability across the organization.

Role Overview

  • Location: Addis Ababa

  • Department: CISO

  • Reports To: Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

The Head of Digital Transformation leads the enterprise modernization program. You will oversee ERP governance, internal process automation, and enterprise analytics, ensuring that all internal systems are integrated, auditable, and aligned with cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Digital Transformation Strategy

  • Define the roadmap for operational modernization and identify technology-enabled solutions for inefficiencies.

  • Align transformation initiatives with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity governance.

  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure consistent system adoption.

2. Enterprise Systems & Automation Governance

  • Oversee ERP platforms and prevent the duplication of uncontrolled software tools.

  • Establish governance frameworks for automated workflows and robotic process automation (RPA).

  • Ensure automation initiatives produce measurable efficiency gains and remain integrated with enterprise platforms.

3. Business Process Reengineering

  • Lead enterprise-wide process redesign to eliminate manual workflows.

  • Standardize workflows across business functions and measure efficiency improvements.

  • Ensure redesigned processes are fully supported by digital systems.

4. Enterprise Analytics & Change Management

  • Oversee the development of dashboards and reporting platforms to provide operational visibility.

  • Lead organizational adoption of digital platforms and prevent the reintroduction of manual workarounds.

  • Promote a digital-first culture and monitor adoption rates across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 10–12 years leading enterprise transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, or digital modernization programs.

  • Leadership: Proven experience managing cross-functional transformation and automation programs.

  • Competencies: Expertise in business process reengineering, automation strategy, and enterprise analytics platforms.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Problem-solving and organizational change management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
