Ghion Gas P.L.C., a pioneer in the Ethiopian energy sector since 1992 and a leading provider of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead its financial operations. As we modernize our technology and expand our clean energy solutions for residential and industrial clients, this role is critical in ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of our headquarters.
Core Responsibilities

Accounting Management: Oversee the organization’s full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.

Financial Integrity: Maintain high-standard financial records in line with corporate principles and professional standards.

Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities and reporting comply with national tax laws and organizational policies.

Analytical Reporting: Provide deep financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

Modernization Support: Assist in integrating new technologies into accounting workflows to improve operational efficiency.
About You
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s (BA) or Master’s (MA) Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 6 years for BA holders.

Minimum of 4 years for MA holders.
