About the Job
Ghion Gas P.L.C., a pioneer in the Ethiopian energy sector since 1992, is looking for a dedicated Surveillance Camera Operator for our facilities in Gelan. As a leading supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), maintaining the highest safety and security standards is vital to our operations. This role is essential for monitoring our technical systems and ensuring the protection of our people and assets.
Core Responsibilities

Real-time Monitoring: Conduct continuous surveillance of the facility through CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities or safety hazards.

System Maintenance: Ensure surveillance equipment is functioning correctly and report technical issues to the IT department promptly.

Incident Reporting: Document and report any security breaches or operational irregularities in accordance with company protocols.

Technical Support: Utilize your IT background to troubleshoot minor system glitches and optimize camera coverage.

Collaboration: Work closely with the security team and management to coordinate responses to identified risks.
About You
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field of study.

Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a security-related or technical monitoring role.
