Quick Summary

The IT Officer will be responsible for the daily health and maintenance of the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role focuses on providing immediate technical support to staff, managing hardware and software deployments, and ensuring that network systems remain stable and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

• Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and peripheral IT equipment.

• Network & Connectivity: Manage LAN/WAN setups and monitor internet connectivity to ensure zero downtime.

• System Security: Implement data backups, manage antivirus protection, and ensure overall data security.

• Administration: Support software updates, manage user accounts, and maintain an accurate IT inventory and documentation.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support.

• Technical Skills: Strong foundational computer knowledge and hardware repair skills.

• Soft Skills: High level of integrity, accuracy, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical team members.
