🚀 Job Summary

The ICLA Social Support role assists in the implementation of Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) services for IDPs and host communities. Working under ICLA Officers, this position focuses on community outreach, administrative support, and logistical coordination to ensure displaced populations can access essential legal and information services.

📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Community Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the community and ICLA staff; relay critical information and feedback.

  • Awareness Support: Help organize mobile group information sessions, including venue setup, participant registration, and material distribution.

  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of communication with beneficiaries, tracking sheets, meeting notes, and routine correspondence.

  • Administration: Assist with data entry, filing, and case management documentation as instructed by supervisors.

  • Logistics: Support the logistical arrangements for outreach activities and ensure IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials are properly distributed.

  • Compliance: Follow NRC policies regarding Finance, HR, Logistics, and Security in all daily tasks.

🎓 Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 completion or Diploma and above.

  • Experience: 0–1 years. Experience in community mobilization or humanitarian contexts is a strong asset.

  • Skills:

    • Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.

    • Ability to follow instructions and meet strict deadlines.

    • Strong interpersonal and team-working abilities.

  • Language: Fluency in the local language and English is highly desirable.

  • Personal Qualities: A positive, respectful attitude and a willingness to learn on the job.
