Job Summary

Serves as a strategic financial partner to the commercial, sales, and distribution teams. This role is responsible for driving profitability through advanced pricing frameworks, margin optimization, and Volume/Price/Mix analysis. The position oversees the financial governance of trade spend, commercial incentives, and the Total Cost of Distribution (TCD), while leading budgeting and forecasting cycles to influence data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing & Margin Optimization: Develop and execute pricing decision frameworks, gross margin analyses, and value chain assessments.

• Performance Analysis: Lead Volume/Price/Mix analysis to evaluate impacts on Total Cost of Marketing (TCM) and Total Cost of Distribution (TCD).

• Commercial Spending Governance: Manage sales team incentives, distributor margins, transport costs, and discounts. Ensure accurate and timely settlement of commercial spending as per company policy.

• Market & Elasticity Modeling: Analyze revenue pools, competitor insights, and price/income elasticity by brand, pack, channel, and region.

• Fixed Cost Governance: Manage function, cost center, and General Ledger (GL) splits. Oversee actual vs. budget tracking, accruals, and committed POs.

• Agile Budgeting & Risk Management: Drive annual budgeting, forecasting cycles, and risk assessment matrices within the business planning cycle.

• Financial Reconciliations: Deliver accurate Gross Sales and Standard Cost of Production reconciliations at actual sales volume.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: BA degree in Accounting and Finance.

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.

• Core Skills: Strong coordination, networking, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Attributes: Self-starter with high discipline, integrity, problem-solving ability, and a high level of responsibility.
