Assignment Objective
Tearfund is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a commercial feasibility study focusing on the Enset market system. The selected consultant will evaluate market dynamics, commercial viability, and systems development potential to inform economic and agricultural interventions. Any finalized contract will be bound to Tearfund’s standard organizational terms and conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years of progressive experience in research, market systems development, agricultural economics, or relevant consultancy fields.

Technical Skills: Proven experience in designing methodologies for commercial feasibility studies, stakeholder mapping, value chain assessments, and financial modeling.

Documentation: Ability to work strictly under detailed Terms of Reference (as outlined in the official document “TOR on Enset Commercial Feasiblity Study-June 4, 2026.pdf”).
