Role Overview

The HR and Admin Division Head at National Transport PLC will oversee the strategic management of human resources and administrative functions. This full-time executive leadership position focuses on directly aligning HR infrastructure, workforce pipelines, and workplace policy with the company’s broader operational goals. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Human Resource Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align directly with corporate business objectives to drive overall organizational performance.

  • Lead executive workforce planning, organizational development schemes, and talent acquisition pipelines (recruitment, selection, and onboarding).

  • Design, implement, and oversee robust performance management systems, including KPI metrics, goal setting, and objective evaluations.

  • Coordinate training, professional development programs, and upskilling pathways to support employee growth.

2. Employee Relations & Regulatory Compliance

  • Oversee employee relations frameworks, providing definitive guidance on internal HR manuals, policies, and operational procedures.

  • Ensure comprehensive, absolute compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and statutory regulations while maintaining rigorous, accurate personnel registries.

  • Mediate complex workplace disputes and implement systemic conflict resolution strategies to support a balanced and harmonious workplace.

  • Drive engagement initiatives that foster a diverse, inclusive, and highly communicative corporate culture.

3. General Administration & Facilities Oversight

  • Manage core corporate administrative operations, including full office management and general facility oversight.

  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret key HR and administrative metrics to extract data-driven insights for executive decision-making.

  • Secure and maintain sensitive, confidential information with strict professional discretion and integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational & Experience Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • 8 to 12 years of progressive, professional HR and administration experience, with a proven track record operating in senior management or executive capacities.
