Role Purpose
The Senior Officer is responsible for managing security-related registration processes and regulatory reporting activities. The position focuses heavily on ensuring complete regulatory compliance, procedural accuracy, and absolute transparency in securities registration and corporate public disclosures.

Key Responsibilities
1. Securities Registration & Compliance Review

Oversee the complete registration cycle for financial instruments offered in capital markets, including stocks, corporate bonds, and derivatives.

Review incoming registration applications for technical completeness, data accuracy, and absolute alignment with capital market proclamations.

Ensure all underlying securities meet mandatory disclosure requirements, regulatory benchmarks, and corporate legal frameworks.

Conduct strict due diligence on financial products to verify legitimacy, technical integrity, and market alignment.
2. Reporting, Disclosure Oversight & IFRS Audit

Evaluate issuers’ corporate financial statements, ensuring explicit compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Track and enforce continuous disclosure compliance, verifying that issuers provide investors with accurate and transparent timely information.

Prepare comprehensive, highly accurate reports on registered instruments, public filings, and technical disclosures for internal regulatory oversight.
3. Stakeholder Management & Administration

Interact directly with issuers, legal advisors, and market participants to facilitate registrations, address legal inquiries, and convey updates.

Maintain well-organized, secure historical databases of registration records, regulatory approvals, and supporting documentation.

Implement quality control filters and manage operational timelines to process applications and disclosures efficiently.

Assess systemic compliance risks within financial institutions and formulate risk mitigation recommendations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational & Professional Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Professional Mandate: Active professional accounting or financial qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent international certifications are required.
Experience Profile

Minimum Requirement: At least 4 years of relevant professional experience centered on financial reporting, corporate financial analysis, auditing, or compliance reviews within financial institutions.

Deep, practical working knowledge of IFRS application, investment analysis, portfolio management, and local corporate company laws.
