About the Job
The Junior Accountant is responsible for processing financial data, managing data entries from the Collection and Disbursement Division, and maintaining accurate financial ledgers up to the preparation of statements for final division review.
Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Processing: Handle all accounting treatments, including checking, codifying, and transferring data entries received from the collection and disbursement division.

Vouchers & Ledgers: Raise journal vouchers upon arrival and handle all standard postings to the general ledger and sub-ledgers accurately and timely.

Asset Management: Calculate and work out the depreciation of fixed assets according to pre-determined organization schedules.

Financial Reporting: Participate in compiling financial analysis data to help generate clear financial statements and reports used for decision-making.
About You
Education & Experience

Education: BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Accounting, or closely related fields.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
Technical & Required Skills

Core Expertise: Strong grounding in standard accounting practices.

Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Software Skills: Proficient computer skills, specifically with IFRS and Peachtree accounting software.
