About Organic Health Care Services (OHCS)

Organic Health Care Services (OHCS) is an Ethiopian non-governmental organization dedicated to improving community health through innovative, evidence-based, and sustainable interventions. Working in partnership with government institutions, development partners, and local communities, OHCS implements programs focused on tuberculosis (TB), drug-resistant TB, health system strengthening, community engagement, and capacity building.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial management systems and accounting records.

• Assess internal controls and compliance.

• Support donor-funded project financial close-out.

• Review IPSAS and Peachtree accounting systems.

• Strengthen finance systems and mentor finance staff.

• Prepare financial assessment and final consultancy reports.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or financial management, with at least 5 years in senior NGO/donor-funded project finance (Career Level: Executive / Work Experience: 8-12 years).

• Technical Background: Strong Sage/Peachtree experience, along with experience in audits, compliance, and internal controls.

• Preferred: Experience with Global Fund, USAID, CIFF, INGO finance, and project close-out.
