Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The company implemented the country’s first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure, providing member banks with state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking, and other digital payment channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Infrastructure & Security: Execute the design, setup, installation, and integration of enterprise networks compliant with PCI DSS and other security standards. Maintain network security procedures, configuration logs, backups, restoration, and data retention policies.

• System Operations & Capacity: Build highly available, high-performing systems. Conduct network performance metrics, manage user access/privilege management, implement infrastructure capacity planning, and establish business continuity procedures.

• Support & Vendor Management: Attend to network incidents, system interruptions, and quality reductions immediately. Manage vendor relationships and monitor support activities to ensure strict compliance with established OLAs/SLAs.

• Project Support & Innovation: Research emerging infrastructure technologies to support new product development. Lead network maintenance, system upgrades, and major migration projects.

• Policy & Team Leadership: Author, update, and implement network infrastructure policies and process documents. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to team members within the unit.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network administration, network design, and infrastructure management (Career Level: Senior 5–8 years).

• Training & Certifications: Formal training in Cisco CCNA, CCNA Security, or equivalent. Relevant industry certifications are highly advantageous.
