Purpose of the Assignment
Rehoboth’s Children Foundation invites licensed, qualified external audit firms to submit comprehensive professional proposals for statutory audit services and project performance reviews covering the financial year from July 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025. The selected firm will evaluate core financial records, review donor-funded initiatives, and certify total regulatory compliance.
Scope of Service

Statutory Financial Audit: Audit full balance sheets, income statements, and transactional accounting records for the 2024/25 fiscal year.

Deliverable Generation: Produce a formal Independent Audit Report, an actionable Management Letter detailing internal control insights, and a comprehensive Financial Consolidation Report.

Regulatory Alignment: Verify that all financial declarations strictly adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) requirements.

About You
Firm Eligibility Requirements
Interested audit firms must possess and submit valid copies of the following statutory credentials:

Professional Registration: Active Certificate of Competence issued by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).

Business Licensing: Renewed trade license for the current fiscal year.

Taxation Credentials: Valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), VAT Registration Certificate, and a current Tax Clearance Certificate.

Sector Experience: Verifiable track record auditing similar structural ecosystems, such as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), civil society groups, media houses, or professional associations.
Proposal Requirements
Bidders must partition their application into two distinct, sealed envelopes:

Technical Proposal: Outlining your specialized audit approach, field methodology, operational work plan, and detailed CVs of key audit partners and field staff.
