We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with experience in the coffee or agri-commodity export sector, and hands-on proficiency in Odoo ERP, to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing in Odoo.

• Serve as the finance team’s key user for the Odoo Accounting module, ensuring data accuracy.

• Manage costing for green coffee purchases, processing, and exports (FOB/CIF).

• Reconcile inventory records with physical stock counts at warehouses and mills.

• Monitor foreign currency transactions and exchange rate fluctuations.

• Track export-related costs (freight, insurance, shipping documentation).

• Oversee supplier, cooperative, and farmer payments.

• Manage customer invoicing, collections, and receivables for export sales.

• Review letters of credit (LCs) and trade finance documentation.

• Ensure compliance with tax, customs, and export/import regulations.

• Support internal and external audit processes with accurate documentation.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Support cash flow and treasury management.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

About You

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in coffee/agri-commodity export.

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting, Inventory, Purchase modules).

• Strong knowledge of export costing, inventory accounting, and forex transactions.

• Experience with trade finance instruments (LCs, export documentation).

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
