It is legally registered and operates in Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Kenya having over 7,000 permanent and temporary employees including highly experienced staff from different areas of specialization. Duties & Responsibilities

 

Financial Audit

 

Examine financial statements
Verify income and expenditure records
Check payment vouchers and supporting documents
Ensure accuracy of accounting entries
Confirm compliance with accounting standards
Project Cost Audit

Review project budgets and actual costs
Verify material usage and wastage
Check subcontractor payments
Monitor cost overruns
Ensure project funds are properly utilized
Procurement & Inventory Audit

Audit procurement processes
Check supplier quotations and selection procedures
Verify purchase orders and delivery notes
Conduct store/warehouse stock verification
Detect fraud, overpricing, or duplicate payments
Internal Control Evaluation

Assess internal control systems
Identify weaknesses in procedures
Recommend improvements
Ensure segregation of duties
Compliance Audit

Ensure compliance with:Company policies
Tax regulations
Contract agreements
Government laws
Review VAT and withholding tax documentation
Site Audit (Field Audit)

Visit construction sites
Verify physical existence of materials and equipment
Compare site progress with reported progress
Check labor attendance and payroll
Risk Assessment

Identify financial and operational risks
Evaluate fraud risks
Recommend risk mitigation strategies
Reporting

Prepare audit reports
Present findings to management
Highlight irregularities
Recommend corrective actions
Follow up on implementation of recommendations

About You

BA in Accounting, Accounting and finance and related.
4 (Four) Years relevant experience at construction and real estate company.
