Clearing and Reconciliation Officer I

About the Job
The responsibilities of the Clearing Officer I encompass conducting daily end-of-day settlement processes to ensure compliance with system rules, generating Net Settlement Instructions (NSIs) for immediate and next-day settlements based on transaction types, and preparing switching fee reports for the internal finance division. The role also includes executing reconciliation operations using the EthioRecon tool, preparing and sharing unsettled transaction reports with member financial institutions, and generating daily reports on successful transactions and end-of-day status for management. Additionally, the officer produces periodic and ad hoc reports for stakeholders while performing other assigned duties as necessary.
About You
BA in Accounting, Economics, Management or related fields of studies
Experience is an advantage
