Purpose of the Role

The Cybersecurity Consultant will evaluate security risks, design robust architectures, and deploy advanced security technologies across highly sensitive sectors. This position handles the direct implementation of enterprise-grade defenses for critical infrastructure, including aviation systems, banking networks, and government operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Assessments: Conduct technical vulnerability assessments, comprehensive risk reviews, and systems audits to identify hidden network weaknesses.

  • Technology Deployment: Install, configure, and fine-tune critical defense platforms, including SIEM solutions, next-generation firewalls, EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response), and Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.

  • Framework Alignment: Implement and align local systems with international security standards, including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.

  • Incident Response: Support daily security operations, real-time threat monitoring, and structured incident response protocols to contain active breaches.

  • Policy & Documentation: Author official cybersecurity policies, standard operating procedures, and clear technical deployment blueprints.

About You

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline.

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on technical experience deploying enterprise cybersecurity tools and managing system vulnerabilities.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Domain Expertise: Solid working knowledge of network routing security, cloud environments, access control management, and threat mitigation.

  • Preferred Certifications: Possession of industry certifications serves as a distinct advantage:

    • Foundational/Intermediate: Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

    • Advanced/Management: CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor

    • Vendor-Specific: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Microsoft security credentials

  • Target Sectors: Prior experience securing environments within Aviation/Airports, Banking/Finance, Telecommunications, or Critical Government Infrastructure is highly desirable.
