The MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) team is seeking a dedicated intern to strengthen data management, automation, and visualization across our programs.

Reports To: Country MEL Manager
The Data Analytics Intern will support the MEL team in strengthening data systems, analysis processes, and visualization tools. This role is designed to build technical skills in Power BI, Tableau, CommCare, and statistical analysis within a professional international NGO environment.
Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization: Support the creation of dashboards and geospatial maps using Power BI and Tableau Desktop.

MEL Tech Support: Assist in managing automation platforms including CommCare and Microsoft Azure.

Data Management: Support program teams in data collection, cleaning, validation, and archival.

Statistical Analysis: Conduct trend analysis and sample size estimation under the guidance of the Data Analytics Manager.

Quality Assurance: Assist in the quality control of data sets collected from various field teams.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or Statistics.

Status: Recent Graduate (2025 or 2026) or currently enrolled student.

Documentation: Must provide one letter of recommendation from your university confirming integrity and responsibility.

Technical Interest: Strong interest in analytics, data systems, and MEL processes.

Skills: Basic familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is an advantage.

Core Competencies: Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and deliver quality work within strict deadlines.
Expected Deliverables

Competent dashboard products and functional maps.

Proficiency in CommCare and MEL Tech automation tools.

Demonstrated ability to support quantitative analysis and identify data trends.
