π Key Responsibilities

Administration: Manage day-to-day core database activities to ensure 24/7 availability, performance, and data integrity.

Design & Architecture: Design scalable database solutions and efficient schemas that align with business requirements.

Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and implement tuning strategies to optimize query performance and resource utilization.

Security & Compliance: Enforce strict access controls, encryption, and data protection measures to minimize system risk.

Disaster Recovery: Establish robust backup and recovery procedures and conduct regular testing to ensure business continuity.

Collaboration: Work with IT operations, security, and app development teams to integrate database solutions seamlessly.
π Requirements

Education: Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 1β3 years of Database Administration experience.

Certifications (Highly Desirable):
-
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
-
Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.

Other relevant Database Administration certificates.
