Key Purpose Statement

The Finance Analyst – Commercial serves as the company’s financial data management and reporting expert. You are responsible for the integrity of financial systems, bridging the gap between technical operations and strategic commercial reporting. This role is essential for driving profitability, managing revenue streams, and ensuring that our financial systems evolve alongside the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems Management & Data Integrity

• Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile discrepancies across financial systems, resolving technical issues to ensure 100% data accuracy.

• Digitization & Automation: Analyze current financial workflows to identify and implement opportunities for digitization, moving the department toward greater efficiency.

• Support & Governance: Act as the technical lead for “post go-live” support, resolving system queries to ensure smooth transitions during new finance system rollouts.

2. Commercial Financial Analysis

• Revenue Management: Apply deep industry knowledge to drive profitability and customer satisfaction through expert revenue analysis.

• Performance Tracking: Analyze project progress and financial reporting, highlighting risk factors and success markers to stakeholders.

• Reporting: Present complex financial data in a clear, compelling manner that enables leadership to make informed, strategic decisions.

3. Strategy & Stakeholder Support

• Strategic Insights: Utilize analytical tools to identify industry trends and competitor activities, providing input that shapes long-term financial strategy.

• Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to provide training, feedback, and project support, ensuring financial processes are consistently executed at a high standard.

About You

1. Educational Background

• Degree: First Degree in Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.

• Advantageous: A Post-graduate qualification in Project Management is highly desirable.

2. Professional Experience

• Tenure: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or finance systems management.

• Environment: Experience within a complex, multinational, or fast-paced industrial environment is preferred.

• Technical Edge: Previous experience in project management or programming/coding is considered a strong advantage.
