Finance Analyst-Financial Planning and Analysis

Key Purpose Statement

The Finance Analyst provides strategic financial planning, modeling, and reporting to support EABSC’s commercial and supply chain operations. This role is the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making, ensuring that the organization’s financial goals are aligned with operational realities. You will leverage your financial expertise to drive performance, optimize processes, and ensure rigorous governance across all budget cycles.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Modeling

  • Modeling: Develop complex financial models to forecast performance, using historical data to inform future projections and long-term business strategy.

  • Budget Cycles: Coordinate the consolidation and input of long-term and short-term budget cycles into financial systems, ensuring 100% data accuracy.

  • Analytical Tools: Design and implement bespoke analytical tools and KPIs to track financial performance against operational milestones.

2. Reporting & Variance Analysis

  • In-Depth Analysis: Conduct rigorous variance analysis, comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

  • Executive Commentary: Synthesize complex data into insightful, actionable commentary and presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Performance Tracking: Deliver accurate, impactful reports that enable the commercial and supply chain functions to achieve their objectives.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance

  • Business Partnering: Coordinate with Finance Business Partners across departments to align financial goals and foster effective cross-functional communication.

  • Optimization: Continuously evaluate finance processes to identify inefficiencies, resolve operational issues, and ensure strict adherence to governance and compliance standards.


About You

1. Educational Background

  • Degree: First Degree in Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, or a related field of study.

2. Professional Experience

  • Tenure: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or finance systems management.

  • Environment: Preference for experience within a complex, fast-paced, or multinational manufacturing environment.

3. Core Competencies

  • Analytical Prowess: Strong technical grasp of financial planning, budget management, and data-driven insights.
