Job Summary
The Finance Manager at Hybrid Designs PLC is a strategic leader responsible for the organization’s complete financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, taxation, and cash flow management. This role goes beyond oversight; you will drive automation and digitization, build departmental capacity, and deliver the critical financial insights necessary for long-term sustainability and growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership

Strategy Execution: Lead the company’s financial planning and budgeting processes, cascading strategic goals to departmental and individual levels.

Policy Development: Design and implement robust financial policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with corporate strategy.

Internal Controls: Establish and enforce KPIs and performance monitoring systems to ensure operational integrity.
2. Financial Operations & Compliance

Reporting: Oversee the preparation of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow reports in strict accordance with IFRS and legal requirements.

Audit Management: Manage external audits, ensure year-round audit readiness, and implement corrective actions based on findings.

Statutory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely payroll, tax, and pension administration, maintaining perfect standing with government authorities.
3. Analysis & Risk Management

Performance Insight: Conduct variance analysis (Actual vs. Budgeted) and deliver cost insights to various business units to support pricing strategies.

Risk Mitigation: Lead financial forecasting and risk management initiatives to protect organizational assets.

Cash Flow: Optimize working capital and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its short-term and long-term obligations.
4. Team Development & Culture

Mentorship: Build staff capacity through structured training, mentoring, and development plans for Accountants and Senior Accountants.

Culture: Promote a healthy, collaborative, and transparent departmental culture, tracking “departmental health metrics” for executive review.
About You
1. Educational Background
-
Option A: Master’s Degree in Finance + ACCA with 8+ years of experience (4 years in a directorial role).

Option B: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance + ACCA with 10+ years of experience (5 years in a managerial role).
2. Certifications & Technical Skills
-
Certified in IFRS (Mandatory).

Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, IFMIS, and ERP systems.

Financial Analysis: Expert-level skills in financial modeling and strategic data interpretation.
3. Core Competencies

Digitization: Proven ability to drive automation within finance functions.
