JOB SUMMARY
Skygate Duty Free Plc is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic finance manager to oversee the company’s financial health and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will manage all financial operations, from internal auditing and tax reporting to budget forecasting and cost analysis for our organization.:
Position: FINANCE MANAGER
Reports To; GENERAL MANAGER

Duty Station: Around Rwanda Embassy, Bole Area, Addis Ababa
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end and end-year processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, cost-benefit analyses, and reports for management and stakeholders.
Compliance & Tax: Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, import/export regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, investments, and expenses to ensure the financial stability of regional and national operations.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls and coordinate with external auditors.
About You
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification (ACCA/CPA) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of proven experience in financial management, preferably within the retail Industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software and Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
In-depth, hands-on experience with e-Filing Systems and TASS procedures.
Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of IFRS.
Expert knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and commercial codes.
Strong understanding on project-based accounting principles.
