Role Objective

The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial leadership for our manufacturing division. You will oversee the financial health of our industrial operations, ensuring accurate cost accounting, efficient capital allocation, and rigorous financial controls in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company’s industrial growth objectives.

• Cost Accounting: Lead robust cost-tracking systems to manage raw material costs, labor overheads, and production efficiency across the manufacturing cycle.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver comprehensive financial statements, variance analyses, and performance reports to executive leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

• Internal Controls: Implement and monitor rigorous internal control frameworks to ensure audit readiness and compliance with Ethiopian tax and commercial regulations.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance department staff, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.

About You

1. Educational Background

• Degree: BA or MSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Professional Experience

• Seniority: Minimum of 12 years of total experience, with a proven track record as a Finance Manager specifically within the Manufacturing Industry.

3. Core Competencies

• Leadership: Ability to lead large financial teams and align financial processes with industrial operational goals.

• Problem Solving: Proactive mindset to address complex industrial financial challenges, such as supply chain costs and production variances.

• Communication: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights for the Board of Directors and senior management.
