Purpose of the Role
The Forex Cashier handles daily foreign currency transactions, provides customers with up-to-date exchange rate information, and maintains high standards of compliance and security. This role demands a high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and the ability to process financial exchanges accurately within a fast-paced retail environment.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: Execute foreign currency exchange buy-and-sell orders accurately. Systematically verify and authenticate international banknotes to prevent counterfeit entries.

Cash Management: Carefully count, record, and reconcile physical cash drawers at the beginning and close of each operational shift.

Client Care: Provide clear, friendly assistance to clients regarding currency options, processing requirements, and real-time exchange rates.

Compliance & Security: Ensure all currency transactions strictly abide by local financial regulations, central bank mandates, and internal company policies.

Financial Reporting: Build and organize regular daily reports highlighting transaction histories, ending cash balances, and routine forex trends.
