About the Job

As the Head of IT and Digital, you will lead the digital transformation strategy for the MFI. Your primary goal is to improve customer experience, drive revenue, and enhance operational efficiency by bridging the gap between traditional banking and modern technology.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term digital strategy to maintain a competitive edge in the financial sector.

  • Product Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of digital banking platforms, including mobile apps and internet banking.

  • Experience & Adoption: Optimize user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to increase customer engagement and digital adoption rates.

  • Marketing & Growth: Drive digital marketing initiatives and identify monetization opportunities for digital products.

  • Governance & Risk: Ensure all products meet strict financial regulations, compliance standards, and internal cybersecurity protocols.

  • Data Analytics: Leverage customer behavior data to provide actionable insights for service optimization.

  • Innovation: Partner with fintech companies and explore emerging technologies to enhance the institution’s offerings.


About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 5 years (for BSc) or 4 years (for MSc) of relevant experience.

    • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Technical Expertise

  • Systems & Infrastructure: Proven experience managing ICT operations and implementing large-scale digital transformation.

  • Financial Tech: Strong understanding of digital payment systems, software engineering, and core banking technology.

  • Marketing Tech: Familiarity with CRM systems, SEO/SEM, and data analytics tools.

  • Security: Solid grasp of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance within the financial industry.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Change Management: Ability to collaborate with both IT and traditional banking units to drive organizational change.

  • Communication: Strong English skills and the ability to lead multicultural teams.

  • Strategy: Exceptional skills in relationship management and long-term strategic planning.
