About Nigat Global Initiative
Nigat Global Initiative (NGI) is a nationally registered, non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan civil society organization in Ethiopia, registered under Registration Number 7525 with the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO). NGI operates in full compliance with Proclamation No. 1113/2019 and other applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations governing civil society organizations.
As part of strengthening its financial management systems in line with donor and audit requirements, NGI invites sealed tenders from authorized, experienced, and eligible vendors for the supply, delivery, installation, and licensing of QuickBooks accounting software.
The objective is to acquire a comprehensive, legally licensed software solution to meet our financial management, accounting, reporting, and compliance needs.
Tender Details
Tender Description: Procurement of QuickBooks Software Licenses & Related Services.
Proposed Solution: Eligible bidders shall submit a detailed technical and financial proposal for a QuickBooks accounting software solution that fully meets NGI’s accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Scope of Work & Technical Specifications
The successful bidder will be responsible for the following:
Supply of genuine, legally licensed QuickBooks Desktop (Standalone or Multi-User as proposed), including specification of edition, number of users, and license validity period.
Professional installation on specified NGI servers and/or workstations.
Provision of data migration support from NGI’s existing accounting system, if required.
Conducting initial user training for NGI finance staff, including basic system navigation, chart of accounts setup, reporting, and routine troubleshooting.
Provision of detailed warranty, maintenance, and post-sale support terms, including channels (telephone, email, remote assistance) and response time commitments.
Ensuring the proposed solution is compliant with local Ethiopian tax and invoicing regulations.
About You

Eligibility criteria
interested bidders must provide proof of:
Authorized Reseller/Partner certificate from Intuit Inc.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supplying and supporting QuickBooks software.
Valid Company Registration Certificate.
Renewed Trade License for the current fiscal year.
Valid Tax Registration Certificate (TIN).
List of at least three (3) similar projects completed within the last five years, including client names, contact persons, and phone numbers for reference checks.
Certificate of good bid Performance or delivery history.
The bid document must be duly signed, stamped, and sealed by an authorized representative of the bidding company.
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Technical compliance with required specifications and scope of work (40%)
Relevant experience and past performance in similar assignments (20%)
Qualifications and certification of the vendor, including authorized reseller status (15%)
Financial proposal and cost effectiveness (25%)

How To Apply
Submission of tender
Submissions will be accepted for a period of 7 consecutive calendar days, commencing from the bid announcement date of February 10, 2026.
Bid will be opened at 3:00 PM local time on February 12, 2026. Bidders and representatives are welcome to attend.
Bidders must submit separate sealed envelopes for the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal, clearly marked accordingly, and enclosed within one outer sealed envelope marked “TENDER FOR QUICKBOOKS SOFTWARE”.

General conditions
Nigat Global Initiative reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
Late submissions will be rejected.
All costs incurred by the bidder in preparing and submitting the tender shall be borne by the bidder.
This tender document and any subsequent contract shall be governed by the laws of Ethiopia.
All information shared during the tender process shall be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of bid preparation.
Conflict of Interest
Bidders must declare any past or current relationship with Nigat Global Initiative or its staff that may give rise to a conflict of interest. Any bidder found to have an undeclared conflict of interest may be disqualified from the tender process.
