We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level IT Officer to join our technical team in Alemgena. This role is ideal for a tech-passionate professional who excels at hands-on system management and user support. You will be responsible for maintaining the daily operational health of our IT environment, ensuring that hardware and software systems function seamlessly to support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide timely and efficient troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across the office.

• Network Maintenance: Assist in the monitoring and basic configuration of local networks to ensure consistent connectivity.

• System Support: Manage the deployment and maintenance of company workstations, peripherals, and essential software applications.

• Efficiency: Proactively identify technical bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve system performance.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior IT Officer to execute infrastructure updates and security protocols.

About You

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or system administration.

Technical Skills

• Hardware/Software: Strong proficiency in installing, configuring, and repairing computer hardware and standard business software.

• Networking: Good foundational knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, and basic routing).

• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical failures quickly to minimize downtime.
