Job Summary
The Junior Accountant at Ramid Trading PLC will support the accounting department in managing financial records and reports. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality work within tight schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting, day-to-day transaction processing, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: Assist in recording, posting, and managing daily financial transactions using Peachtree accounting software.

Ledger & Account Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to guarantee timely supplier payments and customer collections.

Reconciliation: Perform routine bank statement reconciliations and maintain precision across cash flow records.

Reporting & Closing: Support the finance team through month-end and year-end closing processes, helping prepare accurate financial reports and statements.

Budgeting & Planning: Assist in compiling internal organizational budgets, financial forecasts, and data points.

Data Integrity & Audit: Conduct regular audits of internal financial data to detect discrepancies and ensure strict alignment with accounting standards and compliance regulations.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative and collaborative backing to team members to streamline overall finance department workflows.
About You
Requirements & Experience

Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in a practical accounting or bookkeeping role.

Career Level: Junior Level (1-3 years).
Required Skills & Core Competencies

Peachtree Proficiency: Expert capability in using Peachtree software to record, post, and fully close ledger accounts.

Account Management: Strong knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic ledger management.

Execution & Timing: Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver error-free, quality work under tight deadlines.

Analytical Ability: High attention to detail paired with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Collaboration: Adaptable team player with effective written and verbal communication skills who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desired Skills

Prior experience or exposure to basic financial analysis and corporate reporting.
