Purpose of the Role
The Division Manager – MSME & Rural Banking is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising the Bank’s MSME and Rural Banking operations. This leadership role focuses on securing sustainable portfolio growth, sound credit administration, strict regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management to strengthen the Bank’s market presence in rural and small business sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Lead the direct execution of MSME and rural banking business strategies, internal policies, and localized operational roadmaps.

Portfolio & Risk Management: Oversee credit administration and portfolio quality while maintaining robust risk assessment methodologies across all rural accounts.

Business Development: Drive growth in the MSME and rural segments, implementing new targeted products and supporting client retention strategies.

Technical & Branch Support: Deliver ongoing technical guidance and day-to-day operational support to physical branch networks and linked business units.

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal management and external partners to scale the Bank’s footprint and protect operational compliance standards.
About You
Required Qualifications

Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field of study.

Industry Experience: A minimum of 9 years of relevant, hands-on experience within the banking sector.

Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of dedicated experience serving as a Principal Partnership & MSME Officer or an equivalent managerial banking position.
Core Technical Skills

Business Development: Proven capacity to scale client portfolios, build market share, and implement target financial products.

Financial Analysis & Reporting: High-level competency in parsing financial metrics, identifying operational risk, and preparing clear executive reports.
