Purpose of the Job

The Product Manager (Software Product) leads the end-to-end planning, development, and continuous improvement of Horra’s software solutions. You will ensure our digital products not only meet specific user needs but also drive the organization’s overarching strategic goals in the “Tech” business wing.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis & Design

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Gather and validate requirements from clients to convert business needs into actionable product specifications.

  • UX Collaboration: Define product features and workflows in close partnership with UI/UX designers and developers.

  • Documentation: Prepare professional product proposals, functional specifications, user stories, and business flowcharts.

2. Planning & Coordination

  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on business impact, feasibility, and user necessity.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate efforts across design and technical teams to deliver features on time and within scope.

3. Quality & Optimization

  • Quality Oversight: Participate in product testing to ensure all releases meet functional and performance standards.

  • Post-Launch Analysis: Monitor product usage, gather user feedback via analytics or surveys, and recommend iterative improvements.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to refine the product’s evolution.


About You

1. Educational Background

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.

  • Certification: Professional certification in Product Management is a significant added advantage.

2. Professional Experience

  • Tenure: 3+ years of demonstrated experience in software product management or product design.

  • Methodology: Strong experience working with Agile/Scrum frameworks.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

3. Tools & Competencies

  • Design Tools: Proficiency in Axure, Visio, Figma, Jira, or similar collaboration platforms.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and IT development processes.

  • Mindset: An analytical, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
