Purpose of the Role

The QA Engineer plays a key role in maintaining software quality, reliability, and performance across the development lifecycle. Working closely with the Development and Product teams, this position balances manual and automated testing to validate new features, track software defects, and ensure all systems match functional standards prior to public deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Design & Execution: Draft, document, and run comprehensive manual and automated test cases covering both functional and non-functional system requirements.

  • Defect Lifecycle Management: Reproduce, isolate, document, and track software bugs within tracking systems, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolutions.

  • Validation & Release Management: Participate in release validation protocols to certify overall system stability and user-friendliness before software deployments.

  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to optimizing internal QA testing workflows, scripts, and documentation methodologies.


About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in software quality assurance or software testing (Overall Career Level: 1–3 years).

  • System Exposure: Proven experience testing web and mobile platforms. Prior experience evaluating enterprise solutions such as ERP, POS, CRM, or related business tools is a major advantage.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Core Skill: High proficiency in comprehensive software testing and debugging.

  • Methodologies: Solid grasp of fundamental software testing practices, test design strategies, and the structural bug lifecycle.

  • Tool Familiarity: Comfortable utilizing modern bug tracking repositories, version control platforms, and automated testing frameworks.

  • Core Capabilities: Strong documentation skills, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional project teams.
