Job Summary
The Branch Business Relationship Officer is responsible for achieving business growth for Retail, MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), and IFB (Interest-Free Banking) portfolios. The role involves providing high-quality relationship management to new and existing customers at the assigned branch. This entails sustaining customer satisfaction to retain clients and generating additional business through active cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth: Drive customer acquisition and asset/liability portfolio growth for retail, MSME, and Islamic banking segments.

Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the branch’s high-value customers, establishing long-term trust and sustainable commercial partnerships.

Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and cross-sell appropriate financial products, including domestic deposits, international banking, and digital services.

Service Delivery: Deliver seamless customer experiences across the bank’s omni-channel ecosystem (such as internet platforms, mobile banking, USSD, ATMs, POS, agents, and merchants).

Compliance & Sharia Adherence: Ensure all financing operations and customer interactions strictly adhere to banking regulations and Interest-Free Banking (Sharia) principles.

Qualifications & Requirements
Academic & Professional Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting & Finance, Management, or any other equivalent field of study.

Training: Prior training or certification in banking operations (including Interest-Free Banking, domestic credit, and international banking operations) is highly advantageous.
Work Experience

Minimum of 4 years of successful experience in a banking or customer contact role (1–3 years considered for strong profiles within the mid-level career framework).
Functional & Technical Competencies

Product & Pricing Knowledge: Clear understanding of core retail, digital, domestic, and international banking product lines.

Interest-Free Banking (IFB): Ability to understand and apply Sharia laws, frameworks, and financing principles.

Banking Systems: Proficiency in navigating modern core banking systems, digital financial platforms, and advanced analytical reporting tools.

Sales & Marketing: Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to pitch financial services and scale micro-to-medium enterprise accounts.
