Route (B2B) Sales Representative


Job Title: Sales Representative

Department: Factory Sales

Reports To: Factory Sales Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Assigned Routes)

Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth by promoting and selling company products to B2B clients. This role focuses on maintaining strong customer relationships, managing inventory at customer sites, and executing daily route plans to achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong ties with existing customers to ensure high satisfaction.

  • Sales & Promotion: Identify customer needs and provide tailored product solutions; conduct product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Order & Inventory Management: Accurately process customer orders and monitor stock levels at client locations to ensure shelf visibility.

  • Route Planning: Efficiently plan and execute daily routes to maximize productivity and meet targets.

  • Market Intelligence: Gather customer feedback and monitor competitor activities to help adapt sales strategies.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory. Provide regular reports to management.

  • Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and market research.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree: College degree, preferably in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience (B2B experience in a similar industry is a plus).

  • Driving License: Must possess a valid DEREK 1 / Public 1 driving license.

Skills & Competencies

  • Mobility: Willingness to spend 80%–90% of time traveling within the assigned route area.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Independence: Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.

  • Technical Skill: Proficiency in sales analytics and performance reporting.
