Boston Partners PLC, representing Amadeus Ethiopia, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive. This role is focused on strengthening market presence by empowering travel agencies with innovative technology solutions and driving revenue growth within the Ethiopian travel ecosystem.


Position Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the adoption of Amadeus platforms, building strong client relationships, and providing consultative support to travel agencies, airlines, and hospitality partners.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across the travel and hospitality sectors.

  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to showcase Amadeus technology solutions.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with defined company targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key accounts.

  • Provide consultative support to help agencies optimize their use of Amadeus tools.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide feedback for product localization.

  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.

  • Collaborate with technical and customer support teams to resolve client issues.

4. Strategic Collaboration

  • Contribute to national tourism technology campaigns and stakeholder initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and reporting standards.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within travel technology, airlines, or hospitality.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ethiopian travel industry dynamics.

  • Technical Asset: Proficiency in Amadeus platforms or similar Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a significant advantage.
