Duty Summary:

The Sales Representative will drive sales of manufacturing products by building client relationships and leveraging networking skills. This role involves achieving sales quotas, performing cost-benefit analyses, and maintaining positive business relationships to ensure ongoing sales success.

Responsibilities:

Market research and targeting

Research local demand for woodwork services and products, track competitors’ offerings and pricing strategies, and identify potential client segments (homeowners, businesses, contractors, interior designers)
Network

Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and community events to showcase work and build relationships with construction companies, architects, and interior designers.
Marketing and promotion

Develop promotional materials (brochures, catalogs, social media posts), showcase past projects with high-quality photos and testimonials and maintain an online presence through social media and business directories.
Administration and reporting

Keep records of leads, contacts, and client interactions, track progress against sales targets and report regularly to management on client acquisition efforts
Relationship Management

Follow up with past clients for repeat business or referrals, maintain long-term relationships by offering maintenance or after-sales services, and gather feedback to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
Client Engagement

Respond promptly to inquiries and provide clear information about services, offer consultations to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions, and prepare quotations and negotiate contracts transparently.

About You
Job Requirements:

Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge & Skills:

Customer service-oriented with exceptional persuasive abilities.
Skilled in assessing customer needs to provide effective solutions and enhance customer experiences.
Effective communication skills in both Amharic and English.
Required Abilities:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Creative approach with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in analyzing sales data and trends.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong team player.
