Role Overview

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing operations within the packaging manufacturing division. This senior role balances strategic market tracking, business development, and team leadership to secure and grow high-value corporate accounts. Given the specialized B2B nature of the industrial manufacturing sector, technical experience within the packaging domain is a firm prerequisite for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the daily performance of the sales and marketing team to drive departmental targets.

  • B2B Client Management: Cultivate, build, and sustain long-term business partnerships with high-volume buyers, corporate FMCG clients, and commercial distributors.

  • Pipeline Monitoring: Oversee end-to-end sales execution, from initial industrial client prospecting and order customization down to contractual negotiation and closing.

  • Market Management: Analyze regional market trends, competitor footprints, and evolving client needs within the packaging and manufacturing sector.

  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales forecasts, pipeline tracking updates, and strategic summaries for executive review.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related commercial field.

Experience Requirements

  • Total Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive, relevant professional experience in sales and marketing.

  • Leadership Experience: At least 3 years operating strictly at a supervisory or team leadership level.

  • Industry Mandate: Prior hands-on experience in the packaging industry is mandatory. Profiles lacking dedicated exposure to industrial packaging or related industrial manufacturing sectors will not be evaluated.

Core Competencies & Skills

  • High proficiency in strategic marketing, account acquisition, and technical business management.

  • Excellent communication, diplomatic negotiation, and interpersonal team coordination abilities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to tracking corporate targets.
