Yod Abyssinia was established in 2003 with a mission to Yod Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant, one of the pioneering and most reputable cultural restaurants in Addis Ababa that has been introducing proudly the Ethiopian hospitality through diverse cuisines, culture, dance, and music for the last 20 years that meet the need of tourists, business travelers diaspora’s. Currently Yod is engaged in Cultural restaurant, International hotel, Travel and Tour and coffee processing businesses.
We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. As we continue to grow and enhance our operations, we seek skilled professionals to join our team in the following roles.
Responsibility
Review all bank accounts, including those accessed through POS;
Classify accounts in the correct accounting category;
Participate in the month-end and year-end account closings; submit the organization’s accounts and the necessary accounting documents during audits;
Periodically collect bank account statements and reconcile them with the prepared accounts;
Report daily cash positions;
Prepare journal vouchers;
Examine invoices issued to customers and verify their accuracy
About You
Required qualifications
Educational Background: – BA in Accounting, Management and related fields.
Experience : – 5 years of related experience
Skills: –
Knowledge of accounting and IFRS accounting standards;
Strong communication skills;
Ability to analyze and solve problems;
Proficiency with computers;
Ability to effectively manage time and resources.
