Quick Summary
THG is seeking a seasoned Senior Cost & Inventory Accountant to oversee product costing and inventory control for its manufacturing and warehouse operations. Based in the industrial hub of Dukem, this role is critical for ensuring accurate inventory valuation and identifying cost-saving opportunities within the production cycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis: Monitor manufacturing costs, perform variance analysis, and prepare accurate product costing reports.

Inventory Control: Ensure proper valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished goods.

Audit & Movement: Monitor stock transfers and warehouse transactions; coordinate physical inventory counts and stock audits.

Operational Support: Support ERP system (Odoo) implementation and improvements related to costing and inventory modules.

Strategic Reporting: Analyze production costs to identify inefficiencies and prepare monthly reports for management.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in cost accounting and inventory management.

Industry Background: High preference for candidates with experience in FMCG or Manufacturing.

Software Skills: Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with Odoo ERP is a major advantage.

Knowledge: Strong grasp of manufacturing accounting principles and warehouse logistics.
