Core Duties & Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of server, network, and workstation systems alongside medical device integrations.

Technical Support & Clinical Systems: Provide advanced troubleshooting for medical, nursing, and administrative staff; manage IT support tickets and train personnel on EHR/EMR systems and cybersecurity protocols.

Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce firewalls, endpoint protection, and data encryption. Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, security audits, and maintain compliance with local data protection and healthcare privacy regulations.

AI Strategy & Implementation: Evaluate, implement, and govern AI-enabled healthcare technologies to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

IT Strategy & Project Management: Align tech strategies with clinical goals, managing major system transitions such as EMR migrations or PACS (imaging) system upgrades.

Vendor & Asset Management: Manage relationships with external suppliers, track IT hardware/software lifecycles, and coordinate tech procurement.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate network topologies, configuration documentation, and present performance or security logs to senior management.
About You
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT Coordinator, Senior IT Officer, or Systems Administration role (Career Level: Senior 5–8 years).

Technical Competencies: Expert knowledge of network design, server administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles. Proficiency across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

Preferred Tools & Credentials: Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and ITIL frameworks. Certifications like CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, MCSE, or CHCIO are highly valued.

Healthcare Domain Advantage: Understanding of healthcare specific standards and workflows (EMR/EHR, PACS, HL7, DICOM) is a strong asset.
